At Pure Barre, our technique is focused on small isometric movements designed to benefit clients at every fitness level. Our low-impact approach protects your joints to reduce injury, while increasing strength and endurance while lengthening and toning.
Sophie Adickes is a Houston based personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She began taking Pure Barre in college, and fell in love with the quick results and addictive post-class feelings of strength and confidence. She began teaching Pure Barre over three years ago in NYC and recently joined the Pure Barre Houston team in June. She loves sharing her passion of fitness and barre with new clients and can be found weekly on the schedule teaching Classic, Empower, and Foundations.
Shelby discovered Pure Barre while attending college in Bozeman at Montana State University. She moved to Houston in 2012 and has been teaching and enjoying the technique ever since. Outside of Pure Barre Shelby works full time in Wealth Management.
